QUALIFICATIONS MINIMALES
• La formation sera dirigée par le/la Responsable EASE qui est également responsable de la supervision de toutes les activités EA$E (VSLA, DGs, compétences commerciales) et de la supervision directe des superviseurs et des travailleurs communautaires. Les qualifications requises pour cela sont un diplôme universitaire en développement international ou communautaire, en administration des affaires, en travail social et administration sociale ou dans un domaine connexe.
• En règle générale, 2 ans ou plus d'expérience dans les moyens de subsistance axés sur la protection sont requis ; une expérience académique pertinente est préférée.
• Engagement démontré envers les principes fondamentaux de la programmation VFFF, y compris l'égalité de traitement et les services de soutien centrés sur les survivantes.
• Familiarité avec les normes, approches et outils pertinents en matière de moyens de subsistance VFFF
• Expérience en formation et facilitation
• Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication
• Familiarité avec les prestataires de services gouvernementaux et les ONG
• Capacité à faire preuve d'un bon jugement, à rester flexible et à appliquer l'expérience et les conseils aux défis en évolution.
• Maîtrise de l'anglais écrit et parlé et exigences de la langue locale.
JOB SUMMARY: The Officer, VAWG-Protection and Livelihoods will support implementation of VAWG-oriented livelihoods/economic resilience activities related to a specific project or site of implementation.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Planning
• Work closely with VAWG-Protection Coordinator/Manager/Deputy Manager, staff team, local partners, and community stakeholders, as relevant, to plan protection-focused livelihoods program interventions.
• Support VAWG-protection, livelihoods assessments as required.
• Coordinate with government focal points, local partners, and women’s networks, as appropriate
Capacity Building and Implementation
• Lead implementation of relevant protection-focused livelihoods activities, including implementation of specific approaches as relevant, e.g., EA$E, VSLA, business development, vocational training
• Ensure effective community participation throughout implementation, including leadership of women.
• Train staff, partners, and cross-sector actors, as relevant
• Oversee distribution of resources, as relevant
• Support community volunteers engaged for VAWG outreach, where relevant
• Safely integrate survivors of VAWG into livelihoods activities
• Respond with compassion and discretion to anyone who discloses VAWG or need for individual support; ensure appropriate service referrals.
Human Resources Management
• Recruit and supervise facilitators and support staff, where relevant
• Train and coach staff
• Develop support strategies for staff, foster teambuilding, and support principles of self-care.
Monitoring and Reporting
• Seek and analyse assessment results and community feedback and adapt activities accordingly.
• Monitor protection risks associated with protection-focused interventions and adapt activities, provide referrals, accordingly.
• Oversee post-distribution monitoring, where relevant
• Monitor and document protection-focused livelihoods program activities.
• Contribute to internal and external reports.
Coordination, Representation and Engagement
• Coordinate regularly with the VAWG-Protection Coordinator/Manager and participate, as required, in broader team meetings.
• Promote a survivor-centred approach in all internal and external coordination meetings.
• Represent program goals and VAWG standards.
Security and Conduct
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and policies.
• Foster a safe and supportive working environment for all staff and partners.
• Exemplify core principles of VAWG programming, including respect, responsible use of power, nonviolence, and promotion of equal treatment.
• Contribute to the positive image and overall credibility of the program and organization, notably through adherence to the Code of Conduct and Ethics, including compliance with anti-harassment, safeguarding and PSEA policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• The training will be led by the EASE officer who is also responsible for overseeing all EA$E activities (VSLA, DGs, Business Skills) and direct supervision of supervisors and community workers. The qualification required for this is University degree in international or community development, business administration, social work and social administration or related field.
• Typically, 2+ years of experience in protection-focused livelihoods- required; Relevant academic experience preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to core principles of VAWG programming, including equal treatment and survivor-centered support services.
• Familiarity with relevant VAWG livelihoods standards, approaches, and tools
• Training and facilitation experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with government and NGO service providers
• Ability to exercise sound judgment, remain flexible, and apply experience and guidance to evolving challenges.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and local language requirements.
